The new 23.8-foot spray width reflects Ecorobotix’s commitment to listening to North American growers and adapting precision spraying technology to diverse field layouts and agricultural needs.
Ecorobotix is expanding its range of ARA Ultra-High Precision (UHP) sprayers with the introduction of the ARA725, a new configuration developed in response to grower feedback and the need for greater adaptability across different agricultural systems. Featuring a 23.8-foot (approx.7.25-meters) spraying width, the ARA725 expands the ARA portfolio with a configuration designed to accommodate a broader range of field layouts, planting patterns, and farming practices.
The development of the ARA725 reflects Ecorobotix’s ongoing dialogue with growers, including customers whose field configurations and operational requirements could not be fully accommodated by other ARA sizes. Feedback from growers in the Pacific Northwest, particularly those working with specific onion bed configurations, helped identify opportunities to further adapt the ARA platform to meet diverse agricultural needs.

ARA725 Bed Configurations (Including, but Not Limited to, the Options Shown)
Built around Ecorobotix’s Plant-by-Plant AI™ technology, the ARA725 combines ultra-high-precision spraying with a configuration designed to accommodate varying field conditions. The sprayer features 180 nozzles and seven vision boxes, alongside an extended middle module to support its wider spraying configuration. Its 23.8-foot spraying width can accommodate a range of planting patterns, including 22-inch and 44-inch beds as well as 34-inch and 68-inch beds, depending on the field layout and tractor track width.
The ARA725 also offers potential applications in a variety of production systems, including straight-bed onion cultivation, pivot-irrigated fields, grass seed production, and sugar beet production. These applications reflect use cases identified through grower feedback and field requirements to date, while the configuration is not limited to these crops or production systems. Ecorobotix will continue working with growers to explore how the ARA725 can support additional crops, field layouts, and agricultural practices.

The ARA725 retains the core technology and operational systems of Ecorobotix’s existing ARA sprayers. Compared with the ARA620, its central frame is extended by one meter to accommodate the wider spraying configuration. The machine also supports existing ARA tank system options, including a fluidic kit for connecting alternative tank systems.
The introduction of the ARA725 builds on Ecorobotix’s broader efforts to adapt its technology to the practical realities of farming across different regions. Following the introduction of the ARA595, designed to address specific field requirements encountered by growers in California and surrounding areas, the ARA725 further demonstrates how customer feedback can inform the evolution of the ARA portfolio.
“With the ARA725, we continue to listen to our customers and translate their feedback into practical solutions,” said Sophie Rachmacher, Product Manager at Ecorobotix. “Growers operate in a wide range of conditions, and their field layouts, planting patterns, and operational requirements can vary considerably. By working closely with our customers, we can continue adapting our technology to support more agricultural systems and help bring the benefits of ultra-high-precision spraying to a broader range of growers.”
The ARA725 further expands Ecorobotix’s portfolio of ARA sprayers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to developing adaptable, AI-powered precision spraying solutions that respond to the evolving needs of modern agriculture.
